The Monadnock Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coalition (MADAC) and the KHS Guidance Department invite you to an event at Keene High School on Wednesday, March 31st from 7pm - 8:30pm to discuss "Risky Youth Behaviors - What's Really Going On?".
The event will include a presentation on the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) that was administered in 2009 to all high school students in Cheshire County, as well as breakout sessions for participants to find out more about ways to get involved in these issues.


The 2nd annual Kids Keene on Safety week-long summer camp was held at Trinity Christian School in Keene, NH. Forty-two campers, ages 6 to 9 years old, learned and practiced safety exercises including exiting a smoke-filled house, bike riding safety, what to do if your canoe overturns, electrical safety, rescue breathing, and animal handling safety.
The City of Keeneās Summer Youth Employment Program (SYE) is an opportunity for youth ages 14-15 years old that reside in Keene, NH to gain work experience through a paid part-time summer job. The Summer Youth Employment Program has the cooperation of City Departments who provide work sites and youth supervision.
